Apartment block

Early arrival at Tess and Marks took everyone by surprise, but after a v short wait we were made most welcome in the apartment that comes with Marks job.

Plan : 1. Food. 2. Shower. 3. Sleep until Mark comes back from work. Plan worked well.

Choose your creature….chef does the rest

For the evening, we were whisked to the Marina via a “Grab” – the Malaysian equivalent of Uber – to meet friends of T&M and eat. Eating is a big thing here, as in “have you eaten yet?” As opposed to “terrible weather we’re having”.

Diamond Princess

Spotted the Diamond Princess moored in the commercial port of Singapore, just across from where we were, presumably having a deep clean after the coronavirus outbreak on board.
